My goal is to create a view to display all entries in which a date field (month and day) matches with the current date or any given date. For example, to display all birthdays from contacts entries in the upcoming week or month. The thing is, I don't know how to extract the month and day from the date field to make the comparison. Any ideas?
Hi, I'd like to specifically force some fields to Convert Case mode when user submits an entry, for example: john philip mason to John Philip Mason I found an example in knowledgebase/frm_validate_field_entry/#kb-capitalize-all-text-fields, where I can change the mb_strtoupper function to mb_convert_case. The problem is that example works with all text fields, and I want to apply the function only to some fields. Thanks in advance.
I'm a little confused of what to do here, I hope some of you have an answer. I have a big list of members in a form. Among other data, one of the fields is a Toggle "Is Coach?" field. Another field (all in the same form) is a Dynamic Field: Coach. With this setting I mean that any member can be a coach of any other member, but there are limited coaches, let's say 20 of 100 members. So, the "Is Coach?" field designs that this member will appear in the dropdown of the Coach field in the same form. And it works, except that I can't narrow the list of coaches according to the "Is Coach?" Toggle field. I tried with the hook that is in: Formidable Hooks - for Developers → Field Options and Values → frm_setup_new_fields_vars → Filter Dynamic Field. This hook is supposed to filter the options of a Dynamic field by watching another field in the linked form, but I'm using here the same form, and I don't know if that could be the problem. Can someone point me in the right direction to make this happen? Thanks in advance. Setup: FORM: Members Name (Text field) Is […]
I wonder of this can be achieved: I have two number fields (may be text, too). The first field is a 4 digit number. The second field is a 13 digit number, but the first 4 digits have to be exacly the digits of the first field. I want the user to fill the first field, and the second field must pull the value from the first field and let the user to fill the 9 remaining digits. Field 1 (4 digits, number or text): 1729 Field 2 (13 digits, number or text): 1729 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (the first four digits must appear mandatory, and the user enters the 9 digits left). It doesn't matter if fields are treated as number or text. What would be the approach? Thanks in advance.
Sometimes may be useful than other user than admin may be able to display and change the UserID associated to an entry with a dropdown, in the front-end.
I'm reformulating this question because my last related post was a little complex to understand. I'm using a lookup field as suggested amount from a list of concepts. When the user selects a Concept from a lookup field, a field with a suggested amount gets copied from the lookup field data in another Amount field. But if the user chose not select any product or changes the Amount value, and later he edits the entry, the suggested amount gets blank or reverted. EXAMPLES: CASE 1 In this case, the user selects a common concept from the lookup field, and Amount gets copied from Form2-Concepts-SuggestedAmount. FORM1 - ENTRIES SELECT CONCEPT (Lookup field - source: FORM2 - Concepts - Name): Monthly data plan CONCEPT (Text field): Blank AMOUNT (Text field - source: FORM2 - Concepts - SuggestedAmount): $45 CASE 2 Here, because the concept is not common and not in the list, the user may have elected leaving SELECT CONCEPT blank, therefore he entered CONCEPT and AMOUNT manually: FORM1 - ENTRIES SELECT CONCEPT: (Lookup field - source: FORM2 - Concepts - Name): Blank CONCEPT: (Text field): Balloons for party AMOUNT: (Text field - source: FORM2 - Concepts - SuggestedAmount): $11 (copied as […]
