Hi Everyone,

Apologies if this has been asked before, but....

Is there anyway we can back up Formidable Forms and Entries? I have put so much time into all my forms and views and my clients store important information (Entries) that I cant afford to lose. How can I back this up?

Thanks heaps

Isabelle

Your web host may be doing this for you in a sense if it is configured to do so. Many web hosts run automated backups of your server files and databases.

If not - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-database-backup/

I am a bit confused by this thread.

Isn't this done via the export function in Formidable by exporting the XML forms/ responses/ vieuws/ styles?

Martijn

Hi Martijn

Yea you are right I was hoping there would be a way to do this to avoid me having to do it manually. I do have a couple of website backup options that I am using at the moment but am just wanting to be extra safe. My business depends on this info for its survival...

Thanks for both you and Bobby's replies :)

There are Wordpress backup plugins which will do this job automatically.

When it back ups the Wordpress installation, it can include the formidable plugin and data....

Just curious, I am also making weekly backups of my whole Wordpress install.

Where can the forms and customer entries be found in my standardised backups? (are forms and entries  database entries which can be retrieved in for example mysql or are they also saved as a standard xml file in the Wordpress plugin files (for example wp-content/plugins/formidable/forms?)

Form data and settings are saved in the database per https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/database-schema/

Thanks Bobby!
