Hi all,

I use "German formal" as language on a website.

I would like to change the text "Drop a file here or click to upload" with the PO-editor, but it doesn't seem to work.

Which file do I need? I have language files in wp-content/plugins/formidable/languages/ and in wp-content/plugins/formidable-pro/languages/ and wp-content/languages/plugins/

Which file has to be changed and which files can be deleted? Thank you.

And why does this text change with every update of the plugin?

Sincerely

Michael

Where are you trying to change it? You have to edit the .po file if it's not correct. German translations are in the formidable-pro-da_DK.po file in the Formidable Pro languages directory. The string in question is translated as "Zum Hochladen Datei hier ablegen oder auf den Button klicken."

Thank you. Actually it's de_DE ...

Why do these files get override with every update of the plugin?

There are specific directions in the translation documentation that tell you how to prevent this: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/how-do-i-translate-formidable/

I registered for translate.strategy11.com. Unfortunately, "German formal" ("Deutsch (Sie)") does not occur in the list at all so far. Would you be so kind to add this? Otherwise, I can't contribute these translations, unfortunately. Thanks a lot!
