Default Values in Select Box Not Working
I have a form with a select box that contains various values. When I pre-select one of those values during the form building, after I save the form, it reverts to a different setting regardless of choice.
Ex choices:
- 2 Ton (Set as default)
- 3 Ton
- 4 Ton
- Help Me Choose
After saving the form, the select box always shows the "Help Me Choose" value as the default.
In another select box example, I have the following choices:
- AC Troubleshooting & Repair (Set as Default)
- AC Replacement or Installation
After saving the form, it always revers to the AC Replacement or Installation choice.
Any suggestions?

I created a form in my local environment with the same values you have and the default value works perfectly. I would look for plugin conflicts or anything else that can be causing the issue. Out of the box, in a clean environment, everything works fine.

@VFontjr -
Thanks for the followup. I'm using separate values for each select item, though on some of the options, the value itself is the same, just worded differently for the visitor. (This is a limitation of our partner, and how we report to them. IE: 2-ton, 3-ton, etc all carry the same value to them)
It was the "values" of the form field being the same, which caused the issue. As soon as I used different values, the form functioned as intended, using the proper default value. (Then I change the value back to the original before processing to their API).
Thanks again,
