Hi.

Is it possible to edit a post by using the view directly by clicking the posts edit link on the front page, instead of going via the table and a new page?

If your goal is to click directly on each item in a view, that will be difficult. Are you trying to stay on the same page as the view to be able to edit the form? Is that the goal? You could do something like that with a lightbox or modal.
