Editing entries by a subscriber

I'm trying to allow editing of entries by a logged in subscriber.

When I get to the step; "Scroll down to the Advanced Settings in your View. In the 'Sort & Filter' section click the '+Add' button next to Filter Entries. Set up the filter so it says 'User ID is equal to current_user"

The drop down list does not have an option for the "User ID" part of the equation.

I figured it out; I had forgotten to check "Allow front-end editing" in the settings
