Example of Stripe Add-on in action

I am a Windows developer by trade and don't know much about web development as the good folks who answer the support emails here know very well. 🙂 I am impressed with Formidable Forms and what you can do with it, so when I saw someone request seeing a real-world example of someone using the Stripe Add-on, I felt compelled to show of what we've done with Formidable.

Please navigate to https://www.winpatrol.com/winpatrolenterprise and click on Buy WinPatrol Enterprise Now!

This will take you to our cart.

The entire cart was written using Formidable Forms.

We did need to install the Bootstrap Formidable plug-in to get the styling (That was free with our license) and Scripts n Styles (also free) so that we could add java script to a page to make the price changes work dynamically.

I looked at many examples on this site and asked my fair share of questions along the way but ended up with something we really like and our customers really like. That is what is more important.

Check it out.

In addition, our entire Partner Portal was written using Formidable Forms.

The scariest part is editing your theme's functions.php file, one syntax error and your site is down. When I did this I had my CPanel File Manager pointing to the folder containing functions.php, because if you hose that you won't be able to edit it from WordPress anymore. The good part is it tells you the line number containing the mistake so you can fix is pretty easily w/o having to access from the Linux command prompt using vi.

If you are a web developer this would be snap.

If you aren't a developer at all, you may want to get some help to do something this complex.

We haven't moved our consumer products over to Formidable and Stripe yet, but that is on the way. We're going to have that cart support both PayPal and Stripe because many home shoppers will only purchase with PayPal and others will only purchase with a card so we will give customers both options in one cart.

Thank you.

Thank you very much for the example! I have changed the topic to 'Tips & Tricks' so that others might find this more easily.
