Yes it can. I tried using it for a sales funnel, but it has a few issues. First, users can't unsubscribe from the automation once the process starts. This goes against privacy laws like GDPR. Ending an automation on someone's request is a manual process.
Second, the documentation is not helpful in setting up the triggers to work properly. Once a funnel started, I received multiple copies of the test emails. I never figured that one out and ended up abandoning the add-on in favor of Active Campaign.
If you're not intending to use it for anything as complex as a funnel, it's fine for simple requirements.
