How to display the text in dropdown form as the main entry instead of the separate value

So I am creating a form wherein I have two separate values for my dropdown. One contains the text or the actual name of the product and the second one is the link or the code equivalent of the product.

Obviously, the one that gets submitted is the second value w/c is the link or code for that equivalent product.

So if the user selected a product on the backend entry, I'll see equivalent product code instead of the actual product name.

Any idea how can I fix this? The equivalent product code contains html w/c is responsible for linking.
