how to make Search field & Submit button like on formidable site?

If you go to https://formidableforms.com/

and click the upper right Magnifying glass icon, a modal window comes up with a nice search field with a connected Search Button attached to the field.

HOW do you do that in formidable?

Or similar format/style is like this:

sellmytimesharenow .com  (in the top nav area)

The formidable site is almost same thing? or could be... but sell site is using an icon

and formidable is using text for the button.

Looking to create a very smooth, nice looking search field & submit button

FYI. I don't want a modal pop up window... but just how the "field and submit button" are laid out together
