Is it possible to use "form A" entries into a "form B" as options?
Hi folks,
I would like to know if there is a way to use entries from a given form as options for another one. For instance:
- I create a form "Products", containing all necessary fields (name, stock, price, visual, description…)
- Using this form, I add new products and so gets multiple form entries
- I create another form "Store". It would list all entries and the values (like in a view?) from "Products" (+ a quantity field) + total price + customer coordinates + etc.
- With such a "Store" from, the customer could see the list of products to choose from (really, a list, with visual, name, description ect., not a dropdown lookup), pick the one he want by setting quantity > 0 and gets the total price, etc.
I've not been able to find info on this.
Hoping I've been able to explain it well (sorry for my english), thank you in advance for your time and help.

You need to create a View.

Hi ozbassplayer, thank you for your answer, and sorry for the delay of mine.
Once again, I've looked up into Views, but I don't find how to achieve what I've described.
I wonder I could have really miss-expressed myself, so allow me to try again:
• I've a client who need to sell it's products and I need to build it's catalog. For this, I'm planning to build a form "Product" containing fields like name, stock, price, visual, description… and we'll import it's CSV file to build entries. The Product form is thus for administration purpose only.
• Now, when it's customers will visit it's website, I want them to be able to browse the catalog we've created above (Products View??) —but— as in any store, I want them to be able to select the product they want to buy. So each product should have and added quantity field for instance.
• This products list should be part of a more global form (called "Store" on my previous post) so the customer can also see the total price of it's order, input his address, etc.
• How can I add my quantity field to each product of the View(?) and have it linked to the Store form so that when the customer hit "buy", the created entry for the Store form will contains the selected products, the price, the address, etc.?
