Pop up window with text
Hi all,
I cant find a decent answer anywhere about this simple action i want to do. All i want is to have a link (within the form) that opens a modal window with some text that a user can scroll through and close once finished. Its basically a privacy terms window that opens up and the user can see the conditions and then close it and continue with filling in the form. I have found numerous plug ins that offer a pop up but Formidable does not support shortcodes within a form ( any updates on this being a reality as the versatility would be immense!) Any help or direction with this would be most appreciated.
thanks
steve

Popup Maker and the HTML field might work?

Did you try putting your shortcode in an HTML field on your form? You could also "keep it in the family" and use the Formidable Bootstrap Modal plugin. For example:
The content of the modal does not appear to get saved when the form is submitted which may or may not be important to you. If the content of the privacy terms needs to be saved with the form, you can put the terms in an HTML field in your form and put that field in a collapsible section.
You may also find having the Formidable Modal plugin useful in other areas of your site (I use it extensively).

@rojaco - thanks for the reminder! I haven't used that one in awhile and forgot all about it :-( I really should have known better; there hasn't been very much I needed to do that required 'leaving the family'.
@Steve - I updated that page to include some more screencaps that might clear it up a little bit.
