Submit, retrieve, modify, resubmit?
Hello, We a specific need that I am not sure if Formidable Forms will address. I need a form that can be filled out, submitted, and then later recalled by the submitter, updated and submitted again. In context, we are a charitable foundation that currently accepts grant requests through a pdf emailed to us and are looking to move to online submissions. Many of our recipients are the same year after year and we would like for them to be able to open last years form, make any necessary modifications and resubmit. Is this something we could do with Formidable Forms?

Yes, you can limit one submission per registered user so he/she will submit once and then whey they visited the same form they will be able to update their submission.

@Paul, it actually sounds like you want something similar to a save-as feature, where the original data would be copied into a new entry, and both the original and the new one preserved as separate submissions. Is that correct? If so, it's possible, but it's a little complicated to set up and I think it would require some custom coding. The feature that Antonio mentioned to limit to one submission per user would only ever allow for a single entry for each of your grant requests. If that's acceptable, where you only ever maintain the current-year's grant request and don't have a need to preserve the past years' grants, then what Antonio described should work great, and it's very easy to do in Formidable (go to the Form Settings to find the checkbox). The person making the grant request will need to have an account on your website so that they can log in and access their entry.
