How can we set up form entries that limit the amount of time to respond?

This -> https://formidableforms.com/schedule-your-forms-limit-responses/

Unfortunately, this is not the answer to our question.

Specifically:

How do we have a form entry with only a limited amount of time to respond? We want to have multiple questions with varying limits of time to respond to each question.

The functionality you're looking for is not built into Formidable. So, you are looking at a custom solution, but not knowing how you plan on displaying these questions leaves a lot to the imagination.

One method you can try is with a jQuery function that monitors the activity of each of your timed questions. When the field is activated or entered, you can start the clock ticking and disable the field when the clock runs out.

This is a very simple explanation and isn't fool proof. There will be ways to circumvent this method, so the more details you can provide about what you're trying to accomplish, the better we can understand and suggest a solution.

But no matter what that solution is, it will be custom work. If you are not a developer, you may need to invest in hiring one.

Hi Michael--Have you pursued this functionality any further? I'm interested in implementing the same thing, so perhaps we could compare notes/approaches?

Bill, We were quite surprise when we saw Formidable does not have this, as we expected this would be rather common. Do you have a working solution? Michael
