TIP: Taking smaller pictures for mobile forms

I've got a mobile form that we're using to collect information and then a photo to document issues during inspections.  The smallest resolution setting on our Galaxy Tab was still too big for reasonable performance/storage requirements.

I just installed an app called Open Camera that seems to override the limitations of the built-in camera app, offering a broad choice of resolutions down to 640x480, and captured photos are now about 500k instead of the 2mb "smallest size" they were.

Just thought I would pass this one along......

Yep - That Open Camera app works well! One of my customers is also in the inspection biz, and we had him use that camera app instead. :) It saves the hassle of another add-on to reduce the size of images once they are received. Thanks for sharing this.
