Transferring custom styles from local to live server

Hi

Can you give me some advice of how to manage custom form styles with Git.

I work on my local development server and create some new form styles.

These new forms styles are added to:

wp-contentpluginsformidablecssformidableforms.css

When I push my code to live server I expect to see my new CSS style listed on the:
Formidable Forms>Styles>Edit Styles

Are style references stored in the database?

Can you suggest another way for me to transfer the styles from my local server to the live server without having to export/import the styles?
