About The Site
It's My Town is a free participatory community news site for the Haut-Saint-Laurent in Quebec, Canada. Users upload their stories, events, classified ads and more to the site using our front-end submission forms. All submissions are moderated before being posted.
How Formidable is Used
Formidable has allowed me to create a site where users can submit content, via the front end, and that content is set to draft so that it can be moderated before published. By creating a view, the submissions can be posted easily in a format that is setup differently for each type of post. ie. Stories, Listings, Classified Ads.
