How Formidable is Used
I combined Formidable Forms with the amcharts javascript library to create a web application that allows users to track their "ecological savings".
This creates a personalized eco-savings chart for each user (displayed in the featured screenshot). I also used the formidable after_entry hooks to create a running tally of the total community "eco-savings". When a user submits their form for their own use, they are also contributing to the master metrics form. This way, I can track community totals for water saved, greenhouse gas emissions reduced, waste reduced, etc. All of the resultant charts are automatically generated through my customization of the Formidable views.
Formidable Forms has allowed me to accomplish the styling, simplicity, and customization I desired. I wouldn't have been able to create this application if it weren't for the built-in calculator functions, amazing support staff, and detailed technical documentation on the Formidable website.
