How Formidable is Used
We are well on our way to becoming a paperless district. Formidable has allowed us to create online workflows that have saved considerable amounts of time and money. We've also been able to reduce other costly software applications.
Here is one concrete example. All teachers in the state of Ohio must complete an Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) in order to renew their teaching licenses. IPDPs are verified through the earning of "Continuing Education Units" (CEUs). We've created a solution where teachers propose, create, and review IPDPs with Formidable. CEUs are created, earned, and tracked by utilizing Formidable's APIs and the MyCred Plugin.
As we are a district of 600+ educators, the system for tracking professional growth needed to be quite robust. Formidable has served us quite well.
