Hook Examples

Only allow the action once

There may be times when an email or another form action is set to trigger on update or after successful payment, but you really only want it to trigger once. This example uses two hooks: one to set when an action has been triggered, and one to stop it the next time.
See example >
Show ten rows

Use this code to show ten rows in your repeating section by default. Replace '10' with any number and replace '508' with the ID of your repeating section.
See example >
Move and rename files

Use values from your entries to organize and rename your file uploads. Before using this, we recommend you try a more simple option.

Sending Email Notification Only Once on Update from a Custom Display

Trigger an email notification with an update, not by creation. But the challenge is, we definitely don't want to send the notification every time we update their entry, because we update it a lot with . . . lots of information we don't want them to see (like whether they're getting an award or not).
