Required fields suppression for admin

I had the same problem as BusinessNaples described in this ticket - https://formidablepro.com/help-desk/required-fields-suppression-for-admin/

With some help, I created some code that solves the problems. I want to post it here for anyone else who needs it. Now, Admins can edit forms in backend, while restricting certain fields on frontend.

See example >
Import file from URL

This can come in handy in a few different cases. First, when using the API, you can accept a file url, and import it onto your site. Second, if you would like to accept links to files that are already online, rather then requiring users to download and then upload an image.

This example uses two different fields: one for the file url, and one for the upload field. The value in the url field will be used to fill the upload field when possible.

See example >
Change the value in a field

This code will get the value from one field and copy it over to a second field.

Prevent URL hacking by adding a Secret field

Formidable Forms has weak resistance to URL hacking (version 3.03.02 - 14 Sep 2018). A user can potentially access secure parts of the system by changing the URL parameters, for example on an Edit . . . Link. One way to improve security is to add a Secret to each record. If this is added to your edit links then you can verify that the URL relates to the correct record.

Stop views making line breaks

Views are really useful for returning text fragments. For example, the number of records matching a WHERE clause (the "filter" in the view). However by default these text fragments are wrapped in . . . which forces a line break in your page.

Shortcode to return the User's domain from their email address

I needed to filter a view using the the user's domain from their email address. To do this I created a pure WordPress shortcode [users-email-domain] that can be used in the filter section of . . . Formidable views.
