Create a custom field

You may have the need to create a custom field with the data format saved differently than Formidable saves by default. This is a common with saving date fields in a different format and saving the image url for a file upload field instead of the id. When using this custom code the custom field name should not be included in your post settings for this form.

Add a character counter

Building a character counter off Formidable's word counter.

Create/Update Form B when Create/Update in Form A is done (regardless of user or number of entries)

• When creating an entry in Form A, an entry in Form B will also be created
• When updating an entry in Form A, the corresponding entry in Form B will also be updated.
• This hook doesn't check t . . . see if the user is the same, or count the number of entries the user already has, so entries can be updated by other users.

The only thing it's not doing is adding data to any of the Form B fields upon update in the event the original entry's field was blank. I read somewhere in these forums on how to fix that, but haven't found it yet.
