Hook Examples

Send email after submitting comment

If you'd like an email notification sent when a comment is made from the "view" entry page in the back-end, you'll need a bit of custom code for now. This can be used to respond to the user who submitted the entry, a notification to admins, or another group you'd like email notifications to go to.
See example >
Prepend a value

This example allows you to prepend a static message before the user's field entry. For example, if the user entered '1234' and you wanted the value to be saved as 'ss-001234', you could use the code below to accomplish this.
See example >
Load Email Settings with AJAX

This example will allow you to load form's email settings with AJAX; this can be especially helpful if you have a lot of email settings or notifications.

Repeater

I'll explain how I made it work below.

Send .ics calendar invite after form entry is updated or created

I could not find anywhere how to send a calendar invite based on a FF entry, so after working on it for some time I was able to get it to work for me. Hope it helps someone.

Autocomplete lookup on unique field

Have you ever wanted to know if the unique value of a record you're about to enter is already in the system before you click save? If so, here's a solution for you.
