Add more templates

A network of sites could benefit from sharing a set of templates. As long as it's a Formidable XML file, it can include anything: forms, views, styles, entries, posts, pages, custom posts. You name it. You can load and update your XML every time the Formidable database update is triggered.

Extract file name from uploaded file or text url

Strip url and replace with trimmed base name e.g. get 'myfile' from 'http:/www.mydomain.com/folder/myfile.mp4'
Works for upload fields by getting and using the actual upload file url rather than it's ID

will give you: 'myfile' or a full new url if you want to point to a different folder

'https://s3.amazonaws.com/mybucket_folder/wp-content/encodes/myfile.net'

// if using a url string rather than an not upload field just leave out the wp_get_attachment_url line

Add calendar icon to field

This example adds a clickable calendar icon next to a date field. When the icon is clicked, it will pull up the calendar. It is recommended to move the icon image to your site's images folder and adjust the path in the code. You can change the icon to any image in your site's images folder.
